Akshara Haasan

Akshara Haasan is an Indian actress and filmmaker known for her work mainly in Tamil and Hindi cinema. She is the younger daughter of Kamal Haasan and Sarika, and the younger sister of Shruti Haasan. Born on October 12, 1991, in Chennai, she initially worked behind the scenes as an assistant director before entering acting. Akshara made her acting debut with Shamitabh alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush. She later appeared in films like Vivegam and Kadaram Kondan. Unlike her sister, Akshara has shown strong interest in filmmaking, direction, and technical aspects of cinema. She is known for her simple public image, modern fashion style, and selective film appearances.
