About Amala
Amala Paul is an Indian actress who has predominantly established her career in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu cinema. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam film Neelathamara (2009) and achieved her commercial breakthrough with the Tamil film Mynaa (2010), which earned her critical acclaim and a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Tamil. Known for her versatility, she has starred in numerous successful and diverse films across South Indian languages, including the Malayalam hit Run Baby Run (2012), the Tamil blockbuster Velaiilla Pattadhari (2014) alongside Dhanush, and the Telugu film Iddarammayilatho (2013). Beyond mainstream commercial roles, Amala Paul has also taken on challenging, female-centric projects, such as the mystery thriller Aadai (2019), and she also works as a film producer.
