Asin

Asin is a former Indian actress who worked mainly in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. Born on October 26, 1985, in Kochi, her full name is Asin Thottumkal. She became one of the most popular actresses in South Indian cinema during the 2000s because of her expressive acting, charm, and strong screen presence. She gained major recognition through hit films like Ghajini, Dasavathaaram, Pokkiri, Sivakasi, and Varalaru. She later entered Bollywood with the Hindi remake of Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan, which became a huge success. She also acted in Hindi films like Ready and Housefull 2. After marrying Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax Informatics, she stepped away from films and focused more on family life. Even today, Asin remains remembered as one of the most successful actresses from Kerala in Indian cinema.
