Azees Nedumangad, born Azees Haneefa in 1985 in Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram, is an Indian actor, comedian, and mimicry artist known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He began his career through stage shows and mimicry before moving into films, eventually becoming a popular character actor. Azees has appeared in numerous films and is well-known for roles in movies like Minnal Murali, Action Hero Biju, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, and Kannur Squad, where his performance as CPO Jose Skaria received wide appreciation. Despite facing a serious assault in 2017 that affected his hearing, he continued acting and built a respected presence in the industry with his natural, relatable performances and strong comic timing.
