Indrajith Sukumaran, born on 17 December 1979 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is a prominent Indian actor and playback singer best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Coming from a renowned film family — he is the elder son of actors Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran and the elder brother of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran — Indrajith was exposed to the world of cinema from a young age. After completing his education at Sainik School Kazhakootam and Rajaas Engineering College, he briefly worked in software before fully committing to an acting career. He made his official film debut in the early 2000s and soon gained attention for his natural ease on screen and ability to handle diverse roles. Throughout his career, Indrajith has built a reputation as one of the most versatile actors in Malayalam cinema.
