Jimmy Jean-Louis is a Haitian-American actor and producer, widely recognized for his work in international film and television. Born in Pétion-Ville, Haiti, he moved to Paris at the age of twelve and worked as a model and dancer before transitioning to acting. His breakthrough role came as the mysterious character known as "The Haitian" on the popular NBC television series Heroes (2006–2010). Jean-Louis is also known for his performance as the title character in the French miniseries Toussaint Louverture (2012) and has appeared in major Hollywood films like Tears of the Sun and Joy. More recently, he played the role of Ibrahim Khadiri in the Malayalam film Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life (2024). Additionally, he is a dedicated humanitarian, serving as the founder and president of Hollywood Unites for Haiti, a non-profit organization focused on providing aid and support to his homeland.
