Kalabhavan Shajohn is an Indian actor and director known for his work mainly in Malayalam cinema. Born on 30 November 1977 in Kottayam, Kerala, he began his career as a mimicry artist with the famous Kalabhavan troupe, which helped him develop strong comedic timing and stage presence. His early performances in comedy roles made him a familiar face to Malayalam audiences. He gained major recognition through his role as Constable Sahadevan in the blockbuster film Drishyam, where his intense performance as an antagonist received wide praise. Over the years, Shajohn has appeared in numerous popular films such as Drishyam 2, Namukkore Aakasham, Amar Akbar Anthony, Vellimoonga, and 7th Day. Beyond comedy, he has proven his versatility by excelling in negative, emotional, and character roles across various genres. Kalabhavan Shajohn also made his directorial debut with the film Brother’s Day, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
