Parvathi Satheesan, professionally known as Maala Parvathi, is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema in supporting and character roles. Born as Parvathi Thrivikraman in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, she has a diverse professional background, holding academic qualifications in psychology (M.Phil. and M.A.) and a degree in Law (LLB). She began her career in media as a successful television anchor in 1994 before making her film acting debut in 2007 with the movie Time. Since then, she has acted in over a hundred films across multiple languages, with notable roles in films like Take Off, Godha, and Bheeshma Parvam. She is married to Satheesan Balan and has a son, Ananthakrishnan.
