Sagar Surya is an Indian actor primarily known for his work in Malayalam films and television shows, recognized for his versatility in portraying both comedic and dramatic roles. Born on March 24, 1993, in Thrissur, he initially earned a Master of Engineering degree before pursuing acting. His career began in 2018 with the popular Malayalam sitcom Thatteem Mutteem, where his role as Aadhi Shankaran made him a household name. He successfully transitioned to the big screen with his film debut in 2021 with Kuruthi and continued with roles in films like Jo & Jo and Kaapa. However, he received widespread acclaim for his drastic transformation into the antagonist Don Sebastian in the 2024 Joju George directorial Pani, marking a major turning point in his film career. Additionally, he was a notable contestant on Bigg Boss Malayalam season 5 in 2023.
