Saniya Iyappan is a prominent Indian actress and dancer who primarily works in Malayalam cinema. She first gained widespread recognition as a talented child dancer, finishing as the second runner-up in the popular reality television show D4 Dance on Mazhavil Manorama. Saniya made her acting debut as a child artist in the 2014 film Balyakalasakhi, but she shot to mainstream fame with her breakout lead role as Chinnu in the 2018 coming-of-age film Queen. Her performance earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She further solidified her position in the industry with a powerful performance as Jhanvi, the daughter of Manju Warrier's character, in Prithviraj Sukumaran's blockbuster political thriller Lucifer (2019).
