Shruti Haasan is an Indian actress, singer, composer, and performer who works mainly in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. She is the daughter of Kamal Haasan and actress Sarika. Born on January 28, 1986, in Chennai, she first appeared as a child singer before entering films as a lead actress. She made her acting debut with Luck and later became popular through films like 3, Gabbar Singh, Race Gurram, Vedalam, Krack, and Salaar. Apart from acting, she is also known for her music career and live performances. Shruti has sung many songs in different languages and has a strong interest in rock music and independent music production. Her screen presence, modern style, and versatility helped her build a strong fan following across South Indian cinema and Bollywood.
