Yash

Naveen Kumar Gowda, widely known by his stage name Yash, is a leading Indian actor predominantly recognized for his work in Kannada cinema. Born on January 8, 1986, in Boovanahalli, Karnataka, he was raised in a humble family; his father worked as a bus driver for the KSRTC and BMTC, while his mother was a homemaker. Yash pursued his passion for acting by moving to Bengaluru with just ₹300, initially working as a backstage assistant and actor in the Benaka theatre troupe before making his television debut in serials like Nanda Gokula. He transitioned to the big screen in 2007 with Jambada Hudugi and earned a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his breakthrough role in Moggina Manasu (2008). His career reached unprecedented heights with the global success of the K.G.F franchise, where his portrayal of "Rocky Bhai" made him a pan-India superstar. Beyond acting, he is a playback singer and a philanthropist, having established the Yasho Marga Foundation to support rural development. He is married to actress Radhika Pandit, and the couple has two children, Ayra and Yatharv.
